Welcome to Jeff Pulver’s 140 Characters Conference! (#140conf)

The 140 Characters Conference: New York City (#140conf) will be taking place June 15-16, 2011 at the 92nd Street Y. The 92nd Street Y address is: 1395 Lexington Avenue, NY NY. #140conf NYC is expected to be the largest worldwide gathering of people interested in the effects of the real-time Internet on both business and “me” the people.

Currently our community represents people from 17 countries and 31 States from across America.

Register TODAY to attend this two day event.

#140conf exposes you to the power the Internet has to disrupt businesses, change lives and create serendipity. You will leave with a fresh outlook on how the real time web can be used in your business or personal life to actually do something meaningful.

Prepare to laugh, cry, connect and learn as each “character” shares authentic stories about how this new medium has effected their lives. From barn yard to board room, our eclectic group of speaks may be using the real time web differently but their stories all share one thing in common. The Internet is about being more human.

The truth is that the state of now can not easily be explained, you just have to experience it for yourself.

Our schedule is unique and fast paced. It is our intention to provide a platform for as many people as possible to share their thoughts and engage in conversation with the attending delegates. You will find individual talks set to: 10 minutes and most of the panel discussions set for 10 and 15 minutes.

At #140conf, the speakers will be visiting New York City from around the world. During the conference we will be hearing from speakers from: Europe, Asia, South America, the Pacific and from across the United States and Canada.

Interested in having your voice heard at a future #140conf event? We are always looking for new voices to introduce to our community. Just drop a note to Jeff Pulver. Interested in leveraging the influence of the #140conf NYC community? we are looking for companies interested in sponsoring this event.
